6.2 too small sand content and unreasonable grading of coarse aggregate
Fine aggregate can be divided into river sand, artificial sand, sea sand and mountain sand according to the source, among which river sand has the best pumpability and mechanical sand has the worst.Fine aggregate can be divided into coarse sand, medium sand and fine sand according to particle size, medium sand has the best pumpability.
Coarse aggregate by shape can be divided into: pebble, gravel.Pebbles are better at pumping than gravel.The maximum particle size of aggregate is also related to the minimum diameter of conveying pipeline. The maximum particle size of pebble should be less than 1/3 diameter, and the maximum particle size of gravel should be less than 1/4 diameter, otherwise it is easy to cause pipe blockage.
Because of different materials, there is an optimal value for the content of fine aggregate and grading of coarse aggregate.Under normal circumstances, the sand content should not be too low, should be more than 40%, large particle size coarse aggregate content should not be too high.Reasonable selection of sand content and determination of aggregate gradation are very important to improve pumping performance of concrete and prevent pipe clogging.
6.3 too little or too much cement
In pumping concrete, cement cementation and lubrication, cement has a good water retention performance at the same time, makes concrete to secrete in the process of pumping water, the dosage of the cement is a best value, if the cement dosage is too little, will seriously affect the aspiration of concrete, at the same time make pumping resistance increases, the water retention of concrete, easy bleeding, segregation and blocking pipe.Under normal circumstances, the content of cement in each cubic meter of concrete should be more than 320Kg, but not too much, too much cement will increase the viscosity of concrete, thus causing the increase of transport resistance.
6.4 unreasonable selection of additives
There are many kinds of additives, such as: aerating agent, water-reducing agent, superplasticizer, retarding agent, pumping agent, etc.The unreasonable admixture will make the pumping and fluidity of concrete become worse, which will lead to pipe plugging.
